This makeup artist training course is the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Hair & Media Makeup, it is a vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a makeup artist. and is designed for you to gain employment as a makeup artist.
The qualification includes all the requirements to work effectively as a makeup artist, You will be given the opportunity to develop your understanding and skills with units covering the following: creative hairdressing design skills, health and safety, client care with the optional units which include: design and apply face and body art, apply airbrush makeup to the face, fashion and photographic makeup, camouflage makeup, apply makeup, media make-up and provide eyelash & eyebrow treatments
During this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and makeup products and equipment. You will develop a range of technical skills which will enable you to provide a variety of makeup treatments using different techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients. No entry level needed for this course.
