The Advanced Aromatherapy course will equip trained aromatherapists with a path to advanced technical abilities. This qualification will allow you to expand your understanding of new oils and their therapeutic applications, as well as the theories and techniques for advanced prescriptive aromatherapy applications. This course is intended to equip you with the necessary information to assist you in providing advanced therapeutic skills. You will learn about the medicinal properties of over 20 advanced essential oils and ten carrier oils. You will enhance your understanding in the usage and practical application of advanced prescriptive aromatherapy, building on prior knowledge and experience. You will be introduced to new essential oils and base oils, broadening your knowledge beyond the use of traditional combinations.This is a theory and hands-on class for therapists interested in learning more about pre-blended aromatherapy or using essential oils into their practise.
You will Learn:
Day One
• Introduction to our 42 therapeutic pre-blends
• Storage of essential oils, hygiene and safety
• How our blends work with particular body systems
• Effective and appropriate carrier oils and cosmetic bases
• Creating and making appropriate and therapeutic products/ treatments
• Make 3 products
Day Two
• Introduction to our 15 Energetic pre-blends
• Further understanding of treating a person holistically, to ensure the best possible blend is created for your client.
• Create products using both therapeutic and energy blends
• Make a further 4 products creating your own unique combination of blends
• How to make products to sell
• How to ensure product compliance for the new cosmetic regulations
• How to develop your own branding
